We (Katja & Natascha) met each other when Zero Waste Nederland was looking for volunteers to host zero waste walking tours. We both signed up to help in Eindhoven and met up for a cup of coffee on a hot summer day in July 2020. It was clear from the beginning that we both are passionate about sustainability, zero waste and food.

We decided to collaborate together and here we are, Eindje Groen. We started with trash picking walks, sustainability tours and our love to share our knowledge about hot spots in Eindhoven. Because we love our planet and want to show everyone how easy it can be to live a sustainable life. Join Eindje* Groen! (*Did you know that Eindje is nickname for Eindhoven?)
Over the years Eindje Groen has evolved. Natascha now lives in Denmark, so she is not actively working on the project anymore, but Katja and Natascha have stayed friends and still connect whenever possible. It might be in Denmark, Finland or in Eindhoven.
At the moment Katja is focusing on hosting Mending Cafes: she helps people to repair their clothes with simple techniques. No sewing machine needed, just a needle and a thread. These events are hosted in various locations in Eindhoven, always in a public space. Would you like to join?
